Early on, a child has an innate desire to communicate. He reaches up to be held, claps when he's happy, turns away when he's full.
That's why learning sign language makes so much sense in a hearing child's world. Using his hands, he can say what he means, and a parent can understand what he needs.
In class, you'll have the tools to learn more than 50 American Sign Language signs. Through songs and play, he'll learn the signs for "mommy", "eat", and you'll know if he wants "more" juice and when he is "all done". This research-proven program speeds language development in hearing children, eases frustration, and enhances long-term learning abilities.
